I would like to suggest a few things that might make this already awesome game even more awesome!!!
How about giving the game some Money!!!Like a MineDoller or something this could be made by something like a inc sak and a peace of paper. If you think about this it might seem as if there would not be a use...Here's a few ideas:
-The new villagers are AWESOME but what could make them even cooler is if they would give you a small quest like :"go get me some wood for my new home...and il give you 10 MineDollers!"
-You could also program the villagers to harvest their wheat, sugar cane etc.and then sell it to other players/villagers.
-also plz put in a chest lock function sothat one does not have to worry about people stealing!
Another suggestion is that maybe when the games finished you could build a big map with castles, villages etc. and then put it on a server wich can handle alot of people & then everyone would use mony which theyd get by doing quests from villagers :smile.gif:
This way people won't just start playing survive kill the nether castle lord & then stop playing. It would be a virtual world where you could go out build a house survive alone or make a living from money in the villages &earn money buy your food do quests alone/with friends and just get adicted :smile.gif:
Thx 4 the awesome game i enjoy it alot!!!

They will be allowed to do trading later on in development, but I dunno about money.

Developed the puzzle branch for the map Diversity 2, and recently released a puzzle map called The Present Factory. I later put the guts in a map called "Valley of the Kings", which I'm too lazy to link.
The villages are way to small to have their own economy. gold would be way better as an official currency but trading is miles ahead in terms of multiplayer. as for quests i still don't understand why this is such a common suggestion, the only kind of quest minecraft could possibly have would be "get me X amount of <inset material here>".
Quests maybe.
Trading more likely (so finally a use for the endless stacks of cobble).
Money? No. One of the core mechanics of Minecraft comes from doing things for yourself, and buying everything would be the opposite of that.
I don't like the idea of money and economy being added to Minecraft. I think Minecraft should stay simple. I don't think including such things would be good for the vanilla Minecraft.
I could, however, see trading being implemented but I still see it being unlikely. Money should definitely not be added. The whole fun is exploring and collecting resources for yourself.

People play Minecraft for the simple aspect of it (and the horrible graphics). You mine and you build.
There are plenty of MMORPGs out there which offer endless stupid quests, economies, and mob grinding till you drop.
Minecraft does not have horrible graphics!
Your grammar...
