Sure, if you are using an HD texture pack, then you would already use MCPatcher or Optifine and the problem won't exist. But not everyone wants to use an HD texture pack, and some computers may even be so old to not be able to run one. So those people would have to install MCPatcher JUST for the swamps... I don't think that's really a good solution. See CreatorWorks' post above mine for a better solution.
I'm pretty sure that they're fixing it but just because of color it can wait unless they can fix it in a short time.

If you look at update news for 1.1 it says SLIGHTLY smoothed it. : D
wich means they know they didn't finish smoothing it but it looks slightly better. : D
Yah swamps are fine and all (even if it seems like i always spawn in them when starting a new map :tongue.gif:) but they need to be "beautified a little more so they can fit in. Just what I think
One way or another, I still don't care. This game wasn't designed to look good. It's 16x16 pixel blocks, for crying out loud! Not exactly the most stunning graphics. If you want a beautiful game, go play something like BF3 or Rage. I can't believe you people actually expect "Beutiful swamps" from a game like this!
