I took a arrow to the ELBOW! Taking a arrow to the knee is so 2011....

When i first pressed [Update Now!] and entered my world to see the- THING it made out of my world, I just lost it completly.

Fortunetly MCEdit can change world seeds so that's just what i did now and i switched to my Bright Biomes! pack to fix the blue colour of mountain biomes, the pack is here if you hate new biomecolours: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/913096-bright-biomes-terrain-update16x100glacier-world-included/page__gopid__11689953#entry11689953

minecraft 1.1 is supposed to be released TOMORROW! (according to jeb's twitter) So, the transition should be fixed, not sure about the hardcoding.

Indeed. In my texture pack, swamps are what I can only describe as "puke brown".
