/signed i totally agree, i mean, i made my lets play world in 1.8 in a swamp, so i had no idea. now in 1.0.0, WHAM im standing on a checkerboard of light grass and dark grass
there should be no diference between normal water and swamp water
I suppose you want all grass to go back to being the same color everywhere, too? The variety in color helps accentuate the different biomes.
Water under a certain height should not be colored, however, since it doesn't make sense that it would be part of the biome. Lily pads should also be able to be placed in any water.

One time there was this one guy over the internet and some guy called him fat and he was all like, "I'm not fat, I swim every day." And so I cut in and said, "So do whales."

The transitions definitely need fixing and letting texture packs change stuff is never a bad thing.

I totally agree. The current state of the swamp biome SUCKS.
Excellent idea!

Curse PremiumAnd un-editable, just like you, in real life.
I hate how swamps look so ugly. I like the vines and lilypads, the shroms and darker color. I just want it to blend instead of stick out.
Technically exists.
This is my new signature.
