I want to go exploring on my 1.9 world, but I don't want to lose my hard-earned EXP points. I had the idea of an EXP bank! Crafted like so:
And it could look like just an iron box with EXP written on top. When opening, a menu pops up. You can hit the plus or the minus. Hitting the plus makes the number on the side of the + and - go up. - makes it go down. It can hold up to 100,000 EXP at once. Making a double EXP chest lets it hold 200,000 EXP. That way you can explore with a chance of dying and not having to worry about your rad EXP!
However, this contradicts the very mechanic that makes exploring and fighting monsters exciting in games like this. If you could safely store away your xp, there would be no drawbacks to being killed. The thrill is gone in the absence of punishment.
This is just my opinion, though so don't misunderstand it as insult. I like the thought you put into it; maybe someone will make it into a mod for you!
