piano I think it would be better to resolve your issue through private messages so we do not have to read your arguments that are really pointless. His idea is actually really good, and there is no reason why you should come on here and hate because of what he has said on your posts. So please stop making such a big deal and face it or confront your problems somewhere else.

But maybe you need a doll for every one you make? A bit like potions, you put the doll in and THEN put the item in?
If this was implemented, I would like it so you have to CRAFT the mob on the table, with the doll in a seperate slot above. Possible crafting recipes?:
Small Slime:
=slimeball
Medium Slime:
Large Slime:
(not sure for tiny and huge)
Zombie:
=Rotten Flesh
Skeleton:
=Bone
Enderman:
=Eye of Ender
=Ender Pearl
That's all I will do for now, the other recipes are pretty self explanitory.

I know! I've always wanted a pet slime! That's the reason I made this thread in the first place. :tongue.gif:
1. this would balance it out more, in fact, my original idea was that you would place the doll on the ground and then "give" it the mob item. Then I relized that it was horribly unbalanced.
2. I have been thinking of having the mobs be "crafted" for a while, and having the doll in a seperate slot would solve a lot of problems.
The only problem I had was I found the 3x3 crafting table to be a bit to small for the recipes to be realistic (the recipes need to look like the mob)
Green: this would work, the way I had it was the slimes would start out as tiny, then you would "feed" them slime balls to make them bigger.
Of course Huge slimes would not be craftable, maybe it works both ways? you could either craft a small slime then make it huge, or craft strait to a big slime.
It would take the same amount of slimeballs to craft as it would to feed.
tiny -> + 3SB = small -> + 5SB = big -> +7SB = huge

In the suggestion you use flesh to make zombies, what would villagers give that's better than flesh?
I understand that not all people like to brew potions, but you have to understand that I had to take in to consideration how OP a giant army of monsters was, and I had to find ways to balance it out.
And unfortunately, that is one of those things that needs to stay for balancing purposes. Tough mobs are tough to heal, that's just how the cookie crumbles.
I think rotten flesh is supple for this idea. You basically need to kill a mob of the same kind in order to get it's item in order to "resurrect" it (well, in MOST cases at least, you can find gunpowder in chests after all)

I was thinking of maybe having a larger crafting interface, maybe 4x4 or 5x5, for more realistic mob crafts (an enderman has two eyes right? shouldn't it take 2 eyes of ender to make?)
or maybe a completely new kind of crafting GUI.
