I was thinking about 2 more game modes and one extra option in the create a world menu for Minecraft.
Extra option in the menu:
Select the main biome:
Tundra, Taiga, Mushroom Biome, Forest, Swampland, Extreme Hills, Desert, Plains.
My game modes:
Nether survival:
You spawn in The Nether, there aren't portals in the map (and they can't be created, even with
inventory hack). You need to survive with the nether stone, soul sand, nether warts, and what can be found in the nether. In this game mode there are "nether trees", which have
different wood and leaves (with a red tone). The plants are a bit different, the wheat is nether wheat (it grows in a "nether dirt" and is red, obviously.) and is the only plant that can be farmed to produce food. The bread would have it's changes, too. The Furnace is made with nether stone. (Also, there is nether cobble, that can be smelted/crafted.) The tools are made with nether stone.
The End Survival
You spawn in The End, in a "obsidian base" with a hole , to don't get attacked by the endermen. There are different trees, too. You need to survive with what can be found in The End. The rest is practically equal to the Nether Survival mode, but instead things have a reddish tinge, having a white tone, and the main stone be the End Stone.
I say that the spawn biome should be optional, or you unlock it by completing some achievment, such as, if you beat the enderdragon, you can choose your spawn biome from then on. Also, There wouldn't be much point in the two game modes in my opinion, as it is primarily a retexture of the current game. There will be two new game modes, though anyway, called capture the flag, and adventure. Look them up at Minecraftwiki.net, although not much is known about them.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
For backwards time travel to be possible, wouldn't every instant in the universe have to be stored somewhere, or time to be something physical you could travel through? Either way doesn't work with the current laws of physics.

other 2: A mod might be nice
Idea: Chest of loot spawn in Nether ruins that contain logs, stone, ores, etc.
Otherwise, I like these ideas.
