:smile.gif: Mini- Scorpions (Idea from Mo' Creatures) Just like Mo' Creatures ones only they spawn
in the desert. They are really small mobs, the size of a silverfish. They are commonly found
at daylight on the desert, and are the same color as the sand. They are fast too,and can go up to
as fast as when a player sprints. They donnot push the player or do much damage unless venomous. Most can be killed with one hit of a wooden sword. They usually don't drop anything, but poisonous ones sometimes drop "venom" . It is an extremely small block that can only be picked up by a glass bottle, same type for potions. It is cactus green . If you try to pick it up without one , the venom comes intact with your skin and poisons you.
When attacking in groups, they will jump onto you and sting you. If enough are attacking, they will cover your entire body, but this only occurs at night in a very large desert. To get them
off,you must sprint atleast 6 blocks. Venom/Poison could be used as an alternative to negative potions.
Types: Non poisonous = Bright yellow Venomous = Sandy color with green streak over back
Thats mob idea 1 , now for some more creepy crawlies and monsters! :cool.gif:
:smile.gif: Sandworm (This isn't Terraria,just based on Tremors ! ) :
An uncommon spawn at sunset that is really big and unpredictable . It burrows in the desert sands , just waiting for its next meal . It cannot suffocate and can kill the player easily. hits. They can grow up to 30 blocks long! Holy smokes! Giant Sandworms can grow up to 90 ,
but are really rare . They are solitary and drop a whole bunch of goodies.
To kill a sandworm , Axes , Iron to diamond are best to kill them. Cutting off a segment
will split a sandworm into 2 worms. The max is 2 however , Unlike in Terraria . Also , sandworms jump from the ground to attack,so they seem like Terraria 's Eater Of Worlds boss.
Cutting of the head is key . One cut and they will be at one fourth of their health. Giant ones however, can only be killed by fire . Crafting a flint & steel on any amount of arrows will make them flint arrows . They will catch fire when hitting a sandworm or any solid object.
Sandworms have a 50 / 50 chance of dropping some iron , a 10 out of 100 chance of dropping diamonds , and will always drop Iron ore.
Giant Sandworms drop diamonds most of the time, and sometimes drop a few Eye of Ender .
:smile.gif: Well we now got giant sand worms (NOT TERRARIA BASED ) But, what next? This is nowhere near done,so feel free to suggest more mobs , but Ive got tons planned and can't pick the best ones :huh.gif: Lol.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Please look forward to seeing my topic on 1.8 ideas with Survival Mode (Adding that for a difficulty) and Energy bars, and other 1.8 ideas!
I lost all respect for this idea when I saw "Please comment".
A whole ton of that post looks like a giant blob that I didn't feel like reading (not 'tl;dr', just looks horribly organized.)
Since you kept on saying that the worms weren't an idea from Terraria, I'm going on a wild goose chase to say you are actually getting 50% of this up yourself, and a lot of the rest of it was just from either mods or other games (which in that case I would say, get more ideas.)
The fact Mini-Scorpions was an idea from Mo' Creatures Mod made me not approve, I personally don't want mods to be implemented onto MineCraft (only exception would be SinglePlayer Commands). They give MineCraft an optional variety, and I don't want to turn Mo' Creatures off and still fend off against those blasted Scorpions.
Sandworm concept is a bit off, iron to diamond is best to kill them? Seriously? Of course it is, iron and diamond are tougher than wood and stone. Also, 30-90 blocks long? Really? That's a bit much. What's the point in killing them anyway? Iron ore? How does that work? Sandworms are made of iron pieces, sometimes diamond? I think this needs a bit more of a thought to it.
Needs some tweaking before I can approve, but if you could work it out, I might give it a shot.
