There are slabs, stairs, and plain blocks, but when trying to make special structures with the stairs, it leaves very akward corners.
This is why I suggest the corner block. It acts just like a stairs block but looks much better on the corner. Too get this too work there will have too be two corner blocks for each type of stairs. One left corner and one right corner.
If your are facing a block and placeach a right corner, a slabs with one quadrant in the far right corner raised, and of course the opposite for the left.
This would greatly improve aesthetic design, and as an adventure map builder, it is important for things, to look perfect.
Tell me what your think about this, as it is a fairly sensible, idea, and could help a lot with creations.
This is a good idea; however, I don't think you need a right and left corner, couldn't one side of the corner just face you?
Im not sure what your mean by that but some blocks face your when your place them, the corner is tlike, a, slabs with 1st/4ever of the top raised, hence the corner.
Its for a square of stairs a corner for the square not an akward slabs. There fore there would need too be two as it can't only attatch ttop the edge your are facing, so it could not distinguish between right and left. Please pardon my poor spelling, the phone im using has an annoying auto-correct

Ok... then I'm confused. Do you mean a slab with a quarter of it raised? If that is what you mean then what I said would work fine.

The problem is that if it faced your there would be no way for the computer too distinguish between left or right
Ill stop this here as I get what your mean. Yeah that would work but a left or right would simplify things for theach players, but add a ton of work for ccoders.
Good call.
