Because each mob gets 1 special ability. The spider can climb walls, the cave spider poisons you, the creeper blows up, the skeloton shoots arrows, etc. How come the Enderman gets two?

Now, i think Enderman teloporting should just be gone. I know they teloport away from water, because they die in it. But instead, how about they just stop before entering it? Now, i think Enderman should be able to pick up natural and player placed blocks. When its passive, it can only pick up natural blocks. But when you look at it, and it becomes hostile, it can pick up all blocks, whatever it takes to get to you. Personally, i LOVE the idea of a baddie clawing his way through everything to get to me.

What sense would it be to teleport with enderpearls if endermen can't teleport?

Why remove it because a handful of people have a problem with enemies actually being difficult?
