Okay how about for multiplayer, two players make a trade table, preferably containing wooden crates and red stone then two players (or more) put items they want to trade similar to other games like World of Warcraft or Runescape to simplify the trading since sometimes I get confused in trading. Could also be used as a way to quickly pass items to other players. Maybe it could be a waist of time to some preferring to save there red stone and just use q or others that also use shovels to save time digging or a clock to not have to look at the sky.

That's why there such plugins like iconomy. You could also just drop the item out of
Your inventory.
Is it wrong that I thought of TF2?
Anyway, just drop the item like Sheer said.
What if somebody else takes the item or the person you're trading with just walks away with it? There's not much you can do about that, now is there? I like this suggestion. In addition to the OP, I suggest that items within the table stay in your inventory until the trade is complete so nobody can break the table and take everything while you're still determining the conditions of the exchange.
this would be nice but it would also be a problem it some greifer came about and destroyed it when you are tradeing. this would probaly make what you were trading spill out like a chest and the griefer would profit. i can also see a lot out dupe bugs with this if it did come out...
