Earler today I was playing minecraft with my friend, who had discovered a stronghold. I went to check it out, and set up camp in a library. I decided to go mining, and expanded the ladder downwards, discovering more stone bricks which i mistook for a new part of the stronghold, but it was really a hallway I had gotten lost in multiple times. When I mined the bricks to check it out, a silverfish came out. My initial reaction was "Awwwww how cute!" :laugh.gif: Ihad no knowledge about how they acted, so I didn't know that when I killed one, I got swarmed. I must've gotten killed atleast 10+ times when I was blessed and they mysteriously despawned. Now to the point, I got killed A LOT by them, so I think they should be nerfed. I was mobbed by atleast 15 of them at one time, which means that they should be nerfed to, at the max, 8 silverfish at one time.
I think there isn't enough silverfish, silverfish spawning blocks should exist outside of strongholds (e.g. perhaps every 1000th stone block in MC) but silverfish should be weaker
It's basically like the cut of one head and two more appear. With the addition of adorable little things that destroy your soul...
Do they even drop anything useful?

I agree, there needs to be more interaction with them, as well as making them an easier opponent (they are very small bugs after all). I think the damage they do should almost be fully eliminated, making them just a nuisance instead of a foe.

"I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it"
If you had read the post you would know that I had no knowledge of how they acted, so my first thought was to kill it.
