The main item used for necromancy is a Necrobook, crafted out of a book with 4 soul sand and 4 obsidian around it. The book is black and has a skull on it. It does not have a durability.
I know that we can create snow golems, but I think they should work differently:
1. Create it out of blocks
2. If you have at least 1 soul sand block, you will lose it, if you have at least 1 EXP level, you will lose 1, and the snow golem will be animated.
3. You will hear the sound of a man talking backwards and in a deep creepy magical voice, as this is the power of the necrobook being used.
4. The snow golem will not leave snow where it goes, this is very annoying :sad.gif:
And that is how we should be able to create golems. :biggrin.gif:
So here are my suggestions for golems. Note: I'm not only suggesting golems, and all of my suggestions of golems should make the golems have the Steve/Zombie/Zombie Pigman model when created.
1. Clay Golem: Uses 2 clay blocks and 1 pumpkin. It will look like a typical clay man, but be player sized. It will wander around attacking enemy MOBs in a zombie-like manner until it is killed. Drops a clay block upon death.
2. Magma golem: Use 2 obsidian blocks and a pumpkin. It will not look like it is made out of obsidian, it will look like it is made out of magma. It will throw projectiles that do not damage the enemy, but will knock it back and catch it on fire.
RESURRECTING THE UNDEAD
Besides creating golems, it is also possible to reanimate undead who serve to your will!
To reanimate the undead, right click anything that is dying with the necrobook. To make it easier to do this, dead enemies in Minecraft will last for twice as long. The necrobook has a range of up to 5 blocks, and it will still cost an EXP level and a soul sand block, but when you do this you will turn the dead monster into a friendly enemy fighting version of what it was.
- friendly zombies will have torn up skin like the zombie pigmen do
- friendly skeletons will look yellowy and cracked
If you right click a friendly zombie with any kind of meat except for rotten flesh, he will be healed.
If you right click a skeleton with a bone, he will be healed.
Friendly skeletons will sound like they need oiling when they are damaged, and zombies will moan sadly if they are damaged. This way, you can tell if they're damaged like wolves.
Golems can be repaired too if you right click them with a block of the kind they were made with. They will make broken roaring noises when damaged.
It is a nice idea but as TehEPICD00D said, it sounds kinda satanic and religious players would be outraged if this were to be implemented. Maybe you could look into making it into a mod, instead?

then ignore them, anyone that gets infuriated at A GAME is out of their mind. And besides, there are several games that involve necromancy is some way, what is the problem with having it in minecraft?

I know what you mean, but I don't thing Mojang would want to potentially lose customers from an update. The other games that involve necromancy were first released with necromancy already implemented. I don't think it'd be a great idea to add that sort of content into a game that has been out for 2 years with no evidence of such content.
It'd be a cool idea, indeed, but I couldn't see Notch or the crew adding it to the vanilla game.
1. Mundane combat :tongue.gif: (swords, bows, lava, fire, TNT)
2. Redstone contraptions
3. Enchantments
4. Potions
Why not add a new one: Necromancy?

Yea, Haha. It get's so damn annoying when they don't give you any space.
Necromancy is magic and magic is random.
The Sun rises in the North! Now these points of data make a beautiful line...
There is magic in Minecraft: enchantments.
Also, I redesigned the original post.
****.
No.
Sounds far too satanic to be put in....
Before you did!
please use search, thank you!
