Hello guys, i have an idea to make mine craft more interesting. I am not very involved with the fourms so sorry if this has already been mentioned.
My idea is to give another attack style. The attack style i have in mind is magic. i think if you combined items that you could get like "runes" or something that you can use to use magic on things. Maybe if you took an ender perl and put it in the middle of 8 diamonds on the craft table that you should get a rune crafting table. This doesn't necessarily have to be those things to make it but you know what i mean. Next on the rune crafting table you can take stuff from nature such as dirt, lava, water, snow, cobble, est. You could combine some of them to make runes and then use the runes to cast magic spells. I think something should be a base for all runes, maybe an ender perl. Example, you take an ender perl and put it in the rune crafting table with lava and you would get a lava rune, and you could use a lava rune and maybe some other rune to cast a fire spell.
This is awsome IN MY OPINION. Give me some advise please.
Some people think adding "magic" to minecraft would make it an RPG. I, personally, love the way minecraft is heading, and I think it would be awesome if you could use speacil magic moves to do certain things, such as use them to turn zombies into live builders, who would build marvelous structures.

That Plus button means nothing to me. Give me some internets, cause I'm cool.
looks really cool its a nice idea ,and what if when you get the rune you can put it whit 2 stick and make an staff to make even more powerful spells but instead of the recipe you gave to the rune table you should find rune just like you find pumpkins, in the forest or plains or things like that and it will be a magic stone block that gaves you 3-5 clean runes and/or a magical stone and by placing those in the crafting bench whit a diamond in the middle you get the rune "altar"(or however you wanna call it) :smile.gif: LOL i get excited and gave a lot of ideas :laugh.gif: :laugh.gif: this should be in the game since notch has been adding more "magical"stuff into minecraft
There's an enchantment for the sword that catches things on fire when you strike them. Sounds like magic to me, unless you coat your blade in oil and flint or something...

There used to be a picture of my main characters here. It's out of date and I can't be bothered to update it. Truly a shame.
Lance, Chris, Tallix, Zelek, Regon, Andire. Information about them can be found on my profile (WIP)
Also i would like to see this in a mod but idk how to mod, if someone could help let me know cause maybe we could work together making it and see if this would be fun.
