A maze or puzzle gamemode would be cool.
The maze one would be kind of like capture the flag with no teams and you only have to get to the flag rather than bringing it to a base.
In the puzzle one you would have to solve a puzzle with limited block usage.
I think capture the flag is planned, it's the game mode I most want to see. It'd be brilliant to have about 30 minutes to build our own structures and caves, then the flag is dropped at a random location on the map, then each team races to find it, once they find it they've got to work as a team to get to the other teams base - which can be well hidden, through lava and rocks - to score. This is the beauty of minecraft; there are so many possibilities that could create enormous amounts of fun! :biggrin.gif:
May let the player in general be able to set up flag-blocks. You can attach a flag on it if you touch it with a carried flag or take it with you again.
Now the op can enable a timer on flag-drops, like 30 mins or alike. At that point a flag is spawned somewhere on the map - it falls/sinks and can also spawn underground in any empty space.
Like that people can make mazes and hidden places to hide their flags (no teleport of course :tongue.gif: ) and have to try to get find of some flags when they are ready - of course the flags should look awesome, so people can decorate their hidden havens accordingly :wink.gif:
I made another thread about setting stones safe, this would add perfectly to quickly get a dynamic game mode into play:
