I am a Minecraft Zoologist. I fight monsters, kill monsters, learn their weaknesses and strengths. One little problem with the mobs I have seen: Spider Jockeys are extremely glitchy. The skeletons always are at least a block or two away from the spider, and still in the awkward sitting stance. Would it be possible to make a less glitchy model for Jockies? They are quite the challenge to fight, but a pain to look at when observing.

hmm..maybe ur encountering them in multiplayer, where it is rather glitchy.. u must remember if u kill the spider, the skeleton still lives (or the other way round). So there must be two different models (i think)....
Remember: They are two separate models, so the skeleton is riding a spider, but you can ride a pig. Let's use emoticons to help us out here.
So lets say Notch decided to ride a pig, it would be the exact same as a skeleton riding a spider. But because the AI of the spider AND the skeleton, it takes longer for the Spider Jockey to render its controls (A.K.A Lag), therefore, causing a lack of FPS in them, and causing them to be all glitchy.

I didn't think of that... hmmm... No I Know G.I. Joe! :mellow.gif:

Dude, you should quit minecraft as fast as you can...
Spider jockeys do not glitch to me.
Maybe get a new computer?
The skeleton always rides on the spider perfectly fine.
