you know how theirs a hunger bar and eating raw meat stunts it? getting coal is difficult for beginners without the right tools. well i thought why not add salt to preserve the raw meat and make it somewhat edible.
how would you get it? just like flint from gravel but from sand
a seaoned raw meat restores 1/3 of what a cooked meat will
everything except rotten flesh can be seasoned

Okay.
Firstly, it is NOT hard. You can do it in a day. And if you can't find coal? Make charcoal. Easy.
Secondly, do you know what raw meat is bad? Because it can have diseases. Salt wouldn't do ****. You can throw as much salt onto a raw chicken leg as you want, but if you eat it, you still may get salmonella or something.
yeah but i mean make all the animals come out and hop around it so you can pull out some wheat and have them all follow you at once since cows and sheep like salt-licks
Ok FIRST, calm the crap down it is just a suggestion it doesnt mean it is goin to be added to the game, SECOND, there can be more than wheat to the game and salt would be a great idea but it would make food worth more hearts instead of adding it to raw meat

Wheat. Already done.
It gets a result.

Maybe when water runs across stone, there's a chance of it making a salt thing pop out?
