Hey guys, if any of you are a fan of starcraft or warcraft I'm sure you know about the map editors blizzard has made for its games. I thought why not bring something similar to that to minecraft that allows us not to edit maps (derp you can do that already) but to make MODS :biggrin.gif: . I'm not a real java guy so i don't know how difficult this would be but i'm pretty sure it's possible. Instead of learning all the java commands, logic, libraries, etc, somebody could make a minecraft mod editor that has relatively easy to use triggers and what not like "add block" or "add item" and we name it, give it some properties like hardness, resistance, slipperiness etc and a few png files to give it some texture. Then the program writes the necessary code for us, compiles it, and boom you have a zip file with your mod in it!
already exists, cant give you the name, but, modding isnt really hard, start with tutorials, then eventually youll be able to make code with out tutorials, just learn some basic java as well like, if, while etc
ohh there is a mod like that but it only creates items but it only gives you the code not the zip so if you don't know any java and you have mcp setted up you can make it easily by copying the code.
