I personaly am tiered of trying to host a server and running out of RAM half way through it being created. My idea is for there to be some way of creating a server in the multiplayer menu and that server being generated by a computer with the capacity for it and not needing to pay for this.

THANK NOTCH THAT SOMEBODY FINALLY POSTED THIS! I have also been tired of it saying communication error or connection refused and then you try and make a server and it gets complicated. BUT, there would have to be a password if the host wants it to be private.
Allocate more ram, if you dont have more ram to allocate, get some. If you can't afford it, dont host a server, find someone else to.
Edit: As for it being hosted for free... You really have no idea how much it would cost obviously. Imagine the amount of servers out there all hosted for free. The cost for ram alone would be astronomical, let alone a bunch of servers.
It should be easier to make a server on your computer but thats it
if i dont have enough money for a server how do i have enough to instal more RAM?
>_>
Ram costs about $60~70 ($45 for older ones)
A server (a new computer) costs $300 for an El Cheapo and upwards of $1500 for a high-end rig. Alienware offers $1800 computers for $3200 for those whom really want epic for 30 seconds stuff.
Let's see...
Ram vs El Cheapo... $60 vs $300... Ram wins.
Ram vs Mid Range Comp... $60 vs $600... Ram wins.
Ram vs high-end rig... $60 vs $1500... Ram wins.
Ram vs AW... $60 vs $3000+... Ram wins.
Let me tabulate the results...
Hmm! Striking news! It turns out that a given piece of ram costs as much as a PS3/360 game! This means that ram is one of the most affordable components on a computer! It seems that if you have the money to be getting the newest CoD (or whatever-the-hell-it-is-you-'gamers'-play) you also have the money to instal[sic] ram!
Get moar ram?

Simple Solution: Don't get a server until you can get more RAM.
