I was just playing Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Anniversary Edition, when I caught on fire. It locked me into running, and I couldn't attack. I also noticed many things from Zelda are kind of in minecraft. (Slimes, for instance.)
When on fire, you should be locked into sprinting, and unable to stop moving unless pressed up against a block. It adds more danger in caves: Accidentally touch lava, you sprint everywhere, and accidentally fall into a hole >:biggrin.gif:
Your attacks should also have less power, because fire makes you weak I guess.

I would forsee this ending badly, as you would most likely sprint straight into the lava/fire that hurt you, and thus this feature wouldn't see much use, because you would die just as it was activated.

Life is not measured in the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.

That's why you would bring a bucket of water with you.
