This is word for word what I wrote in another post. do you like it?
"I really liked the mountain chains from 1.7, there should be a "floating mountain' biome, as well as a an under-ground lake biome. while we're at it we can up the y limit and make real mountains with real valleys, valleys having forests or rain-forests in them, and mountain cliffs having trees, preferably pines. volcano Islands, mountain-forests (oak, pine or birch). under-water ravines, and naturally spawning cities. yes, cities. with knights, people and other things, they have moats, hight walls and other things, they should be a bit less rare then strong-holds. eg: if a strong-hold is 1every 1000 block, cities should be 1 every 600-700 blocks. this with villages...
Giant trees biome, HUGE avatar-like trees you can even put villages in them. ruins, not strongholds, ruins. They are like slightly smaller strong-holds, might house portals to Aether if it ever get implemented, other-wise to the Nether, about as rare as strongholds. then Underground cities, huge columns going up with people populating it. actual moving boats, go from village to village or city to city or village to city, attracted by light lv 13 or above. enable giant and mythical creatures.
all in all
Non-populated biomes:
"floating mountains"
under-ground lake
real mountains & valleys having forests
volcano islands
Mountain forests
Giant tree
Populated biomes:
Cities
Giant trees
Ruins
Under-ground cities
moving boats
other possibility:
mythical creatures
PS:Underground forests
PSS: there should be a slider for population instead of a tick."
Yeah it would be cooler if there were more biomes than there's now, though it might be weird if you went from snow to like swamp ruins XD
And if you're mining and then you hit an underground forest, and you're like...wtf? trees?
Sorry, for clarification, underground forests should have a specific tree and they should be like lv30-50 or something like that. you shouldn't expect this:
"ooo, forest, *digs a hole* ooo a tree, ooo another forest, *continues digging* Yay! a 3 layer forest!!!" I have no clue as to the frequency but There should be a forest 1:1000-2000 block
