I was thinking. we are missing some sort of animal mutt mob... Sure we have the pigs and sheep. But are they aggressive?
And Even wolves aren't in the aggressive level.
Shadow tigers teleport from shadow to shadow (hence their name), They are actually rare. They will attack only if the player is in a shadow. They would be black just like the shadow. They're growl would sound like a zombie grunt mixed with a tiger ROOOOAR.

This has NO thought to it. Let me elaborate with some straight-forward questions:
Umm, if they only attack a player if he's in a shadow, what does it matter that they can teleport? I mean, he's already having dinner, why teleport?
Also, how much health do they have?
How fast do they move?
Do they have stripes?
How much damage do they do on easy/med/hard?
What is their preferred biome (we all know shadow, but shadow where?)
What are it's drops?
Are they tamable?
If the player attacks a tiger in the shadow and proceeds out of the shadow, does the tiger chase? You said it only attacks in shadow.
What light level is considered shadow?
Shadows are cast only in the presense of light, if it's night, can it spawn?
Will it attack other mobs casually?
Is it immune to arrows?
Does it burn in light?
How about water?
How large is it?
If it teleports from one shadow to another, can it teleport through walls?
Even with vision obstructed from the player?
You said they're rare, how rare?
If it's a large solid-black cat which only spawns at night/low-light, wouldn't it be a jaguar/panther?
Will it have other AI scripts like teleporting if hit?
How will you balance this if it becomes overpowered?
There's more to that list, but I hope that's enough to let you know there's much work to be done.

Support or not?
