It doesnt make sense that the only way to get applez is by dungeons. I know there is a mod for it, but I really would like to have some applez or other fruits hanging in the treez. Because, if we want golden applez, we dont have to comb the whole map for a dungeon with a chest that has applez

Sure. Apples should be able to be found most likely in Mixed Forest biomes.
