after trying make come complex wiring and circuits i realized its not ..... friendly enough i don't want the game to decide how my circuits are going to join so here are a few ideas that i have
1) with the mined redstone you can create a 3 or 4 wire configurations
a) a straight line (once placed down right clicking can toggle weather its | or -
:cool.gif: a 90 degree L shape for corners again once you place the block right clicking it will toggle the direction
c) a T piece again once you place the block right clicking it will toggle the direction
d) + piece
e) Auto wire (This will function as the current redstone where it will join the wire itself and so forth)
f) Redstone Wire block - this is just a thought but to be able to make a block with redstone where you are able to run your redstone wires on the top left and the right like torches but only this can be done on the redstone block every other block remains the same and also these redstone should be able to run vertically up walls 9 redstone for 1 block steep sacrifice for being able to do that i think its worth it
i noticed when trying to put wires close together it would automatically connect every wire in its vicinity together and thus a circuit needs to be at least 1 block apart or on different places and even then 2 blocks apart so by doing this you should eliminate the need to move wires so far apart and also build more compact and more easily concealed circuits just a thought i had in order to help fix this small issue i had
anyway would love to hear what people think about this idea and it might have been brought up already or if anyone else thinks this would be a good idea or even have their own ideas i mean i went though a few pages of the forums so im not sure if its brought up yet if it has my apologies if not :biggrin.gif: here we go my 2blocks
oh great, another topic about being able to choose whether or not redstone should connect.
anyways, i think not, it would be a big hassle to just connect things up, and once you have enough redstone, you can make redstone repeaters,
which act like repeaters, diodes and delayers.
these are my 2 cents
also, check out the redwire mod by... eloraam i think?

Thats why i suggested you can still retain the auto wiring blocks but have the choice to make the other blocks and i will check out that mod thanks
