You know what would be awesome? If in the End, the Enderman were friendly men. That why I don't get killed any time I look up at the mass amount of them. As well, if it was less like a giant floating island and more like Risigumi's "Biosphere" mod, where smaller islands were connected by a bridge, and each island was a little different. Like, one island is how you get back, another might be an Ender Village, and another were a dragon waits in his cave. As well, maybe in these dragons caves, were blocks that reduced light.
That would make the Ender worth the trip of getting there.

The biospheres sound good. Maybe you could offer diamonds to the enders to make them friendly.
Do you know how hard it is to engage in combat with an Enderman?
You have to stare directly at its head for over a second. If you're slow enough to do that, then you're going to have to fight.
Under normal circumstances in the Natural World, then I agree. Enderman Are rather hard to get in a fight with. But when there is 20 - 30 Enderman all walking towards you and you look up to see if the freaking ledge is right ahaead and you look at it by accident, the your screwed.
I just want Enderman to be different in the End. The ones that appear in the Natural World are like "Invaders" and the others are more friendly. It's just, for the effort needed to find the End, it deosn't seem worth the risk when it is more dangerous than the Nether. And even the Nether is worth the trip. But the End just gives us discloured cobblestone. It would just be nice to see a bizzare biome. The Natural World has a very earthlike look. The Nether has a very [underground hellish look. Since the Enderman are alien extraplanar creatures, shouldn't there world reflect that?
