The hostile mobs are quite easy to keep out of your house, but what about a mob that copies or mimics what you do? It would be able to open doors at random, pick up and place blocks, tunnel, and even more (kill other mobs like skeletons and be able to learn how to shoot arrows). It may even go through portals to see what nether mobs do and can learn to shoot fireballs like ghasts or follow you to the End and be able to teleport like endermen can. It would add a LOT more difficulty to minecraft in my opinion.

Whilst cool that sounds incredibly and unnecessarily complicated.

Hmmm...you wouldnt want to give a mob that much power but mimicing you and other mobs sounds good

I agree, add Herobrine back to the game.

call it something else pl0x perhaps call it an AI Blob or some crap that gathers intelligence as it moves about

Well that's the point, it would learn and be complicated. And yes, it would look like Steve.

This is a very cool idea, but it would probably be very hard to program

So you want the ultimate AI griefer to be added to Minecraft?

How about you make it to where it only mimics one thing at a time.

That way it wont be a flying, teleporting, exploding thing that shoots fireballs

Or it could change with difficulty, easy bearing one or two things and hardcore is unlimited just for added fun. It could also work with peaceful where it can just move blocks.

This doesnt make sence if it looks like you so it already mimiced you but if theres a diffrent mob that it saw(like pig for example)it will get on its knees and dose what the pigs does :mellow.gif:

Not exactly... At first it would be like basic mobs just walking, and it only learns things that said basic mobs can't do but it would take a few minecraft days to learn an ability.

EDIT: what I'm trying to say is - it can only copy other hostile mobs

So your adding some...thing that walks around and...like normal mobs...but if it see's a endermen it will still be you but it starts picking up blocks that the endermen picks up and if you look at the endermen and it trys to attack you the...thing will do the same

Yes, and if you look at the mimic, it will attack you then as well. It's like an ultimob. Should probably be a rare spawn
