Maybe Minecraft could know your location and your locations weather, and whatever it is outside is what it is ingame! This wouldn't work for multiplayer because it would be too hard to code and there are a lot of people on a server so it wouldn't work.
I don't like this idea because it would always be no weather.
How about we add something that lets us smell the smells of minecraft while we are experiencing it? Yum that steak smells great! :smile.gif:
if it wouldn't work for multiplayer why have it at all? This is a very strange suggestion.
I think some Wii games used a feature similar to this using the Forecast Channel. Yet it would be a more compelling experience for games like animal crossing that operates in real time. If this option was in minecraft it could be like months and months or years (depending on where you live) game time before it might rain. Or it could be always raining... Cute idea on paper but not practical in enjoyment factor.
Not that the option would hurt. The game knows your IP when you log on, that could be info enough for a location and connect to a site like weatherbug... but is it really worth the effort? Specially in the current lack of weather varieties. No wind, smog, fog, "partly cloudy", not even clear skies, dust, sand storm, freezing rain, sleet, hail, tornado (I've sat around in tornado warnings playing :tongue.gif:), hurricane.
