Yes I know THERE IS A MEGA-THREAD (Probably...)
But as I know Mega-threads are also called "A bottomless pit of ideas" -Rockboy :biggrin.gif:
So im posting here and if wanted they can move my idea's to the mega-thread.
Endermen
An intriging monster! however I feal there purpose is wasted as a monster, they show signs of intelegence and arnt mindless Necroed-Demons like zombies.
So I sugest a few new things to improve endermen.
Groups
Endermen should spawn only in groups of 1 then migrate together to form a larger group.
When 2 or more meat together they will naturaly choose, when the leader is killed/dies they will choose another one.
Endermen Mentality
Endermen should be an intelegent species, they should fear other monsters, which would explain why they attack you when your not discussed (Your a defencless human, easy prey for the advanced Enderman).
Ender Hives
When a group of enderman reach 3+ they will start building a small area to live in, they will nest in dark caves, Moving blocks about to make a small 1X3 entrance (endermen are tall).
As the group gets bigger they will expand there Hive to Above Ground and start counstructing a house.
Ender Types
As the Hive grows bigger (To say 8+ ender's) they will begin counstructing and gathering materials, then th endermen will counstruct things like Swords and Armor they will make Ender-Soldiers which are brave endermen that will go out and kill monsters near the Hive.
Ender-Interaction
While discused as a Pumpkin-Head you can trade materials to the Endermen (They will have a want for rare things like: Iron, Gold, Redstone, Diamond) Eventually after trading enuff the ender-hive will accept you and you can take off your Pupkin-Hat without fear of them attacking you (You will have to repeat with other Hive's as they wont like you till you traded with them enuff).

discuss = disguise? Otherwise sounds nice, but probably wont even be an endeavor taken on by a modder. Then again, its no Aether. The right coder might do this.
1. Dear god please learn to spell correctly. I twitch every time I see a spelling error on this forum, and sadly I am usually twitching the entire time I browse here.
2. The way I see it, with the new End Realm, Endermen are meant to sort of be...invaders, almost. Maybe not necessarily truly evil, but dark, twisted beings that don't belong in this realm. They don't understand how the world works, but they accept the other monsters because they are similar to the beasts in their home. Players are different, foreign, and if they look at them they attack, ferociously.
That said, they aren't supposed to be like villagers. They are meant to be fairly simple creatures, ones who attack when looked at and teleport away from attacks/water. They are otherworldy, and not to be made friendly.
Supposedly, trading will be made available with the villagers, who are meant to be friendly. Endermen...they just aren't supposed to be friendly.

I was fine until that part. They're aggressive mobs for a reason. If there's going to be a truly interactive mob, it'll have to be something truly neutral. Then, by either pissing them off or giving them stuff, they would get aggressive or passive, respectively.
Also, listen to the wo/man above. S/he speaks the truth!
I apologize for the ambiguity, but I'm obviously new here and know none of you!
I really like the idea, but maybe not use endermen, maybe use some kind of new insect-like mob (whenever I hear the word hive I think of bees,ants,and such). otherwise this should be implemented.

I still think Notch Major-Failed on Villages, Il take at least other humans over pork-heads, **** il take a hostile creeper village over Pork-Heads!
Why?
The Testificates are temporary and endermen cannot be villagers due to being hostile monsters from a foreign dimension.
And they are not adding humans to make you feel different, a world populated by monster and such is a lot more mysterious than a world with humans.
And Endermen arnt Vilagers, tey are HIVERS!
