So I got this new Idea for books.
YOU CAN ACTUALLY WRIGHT IN THEM!!!
+ shelves would be book only chests
What's your opinion? :Flint and Steel: :dry.gif:

I've heard this idea many times, and have liked it every time. So simple, yet such a wide variety of uses. Adventure maps, leaving someone a message, giving instructions, etc, etc, etc.
you spelled "write" wrong derp.
i think that would be a cool idea because in adventure maps with a story line, you would be able to grab a book from a book shelf

It would be nice, especially for adventure maps. Its been suggested before, in bulk.
I'm really fond of this idea, but I'm not exactly sure how it would work. Well, I suppose they got maps up and running, and they're essentially a portable sign post, maybe that's how books could work as well. I'm not sure that text + moving block = actually applicable, but it would be nice.
(Moving as in that you can carry it, not that it would be moved by other means).
Why wouldn't it be like signs where you just type what you want.
By the way. This is an idea which has been around way before you suggested it.
I guess the idea would be that books would have a higher character limit and would add a "roleplay" factor into the game. Signs work just as well for my needs, but they do get a bit much when you've got something long-winded to describe.

[quote=Badgerz]You have to keep in mind that people are stupid.
[quote=Catelite]Just because you don't understand how something works, doesn't make it broken or pointless. >_<
