Since the red dragon will probably live in the Nether, the normal world should have a green dragon that you can steal an egg from and hatch for a baby dragon that you can raise into a dragon mount. If Notch adds a flying mount he should add a controllable land mount too, maybe a horse or something.
What...red...dragon...?
There's only one dragon, and it's no where near the Nether. Ender Dragons (black with white dots, shown in video on front page) are found in The End.
Edit: I never knew Red Dragons had been announced. But They have been planned at the release at Minecon, so they could spawn anywhere, doesn't exactly need to be the Nether.

Red probably wont be Nether, it'll be Overworld. However, I like the idea of having to steal an egg. Maybe only one Red Dragon spawns in a "nest" in the world, similiar to Strongholds, but on the Surface, and you need to steal its egg blocks, then, put them in a cauldron until they turn purple and hatch them into purple, tame dragons!

I'm sorry for not listening in on every single developer conversation. I have a, you know, one of those things, whasit, a life.
I never saw them be announced, and missing a single Tweet from Notch is no reason to call someone a noob.
Furthermore, Red Dragons (according to the Wiki) are apparently being released at the full release at Minecon, thus making Ender Dragons still the only dragons currently completely verified.

I'm playing with you man. I just went for a read in the wiki too. :happy.gif: I wonder if they'll be putting the red ones in those squared rooms in the abandoned mineshafts... :huh.gif:
I don't care much about dragons because too many people are making suggestions for them now. I thought the green dragon would be in the overworld and the white in the ender and that was it..
