Hello again, I have a few ideas relating to the new 1.9 breeding addition.
1. Eating dropped wheat
This may be a bit silly to some, but for people like my dad and I, we would really like this. On SMP, we have a town, almost a legit city, with roads made from black wool to represent pavement. We need to find sheep upon sheep to keep up with our expansion. With lambs being produced every 5 minutes with a 5 minute clock attatched to 2 dispensers filled with wheat, our sheep would be produced while we work. Not everyone would need this, but it may be what is needed (as in, least laggy or least buggy) to make the next suggestion work.
2. Eating mature wheat crops
To make up for losing our wheat, we would get baby animals if anything decides to come and trample the crops. If a mature crop is nearby, it would be eaten, making a new "eaten crop" block, that only drops seeds. The animals then enter love mode to breed. The alternate version would be to trample the crops, and then eat the dropped wheat, and leave the seeds for you to collect, along with making a baby animal.
3. Defensive parents
Most animals are defensive as parents. If you hurt the baby, you get hit from a cow, or pig, or sheep, once for half a heart. If you kill it, you get hit 4 or 5 times for a half heart each. A parent would also try to protect their baby by walking in between the baby and you.
4. Animal feed
Everybody knows that using bonemeal on a plant makes it grow to full size instantly, I'm sure. Animal feed is the passive mob equivilant to this. Using animal feed on a baby animal causes it to mature instantly. Animal feed is made by putting a wheat into the crafting table, giving 3 animal feeds, the same proportion as bones and bonemeal.
Yeah, these are actually good ideas. I also think this wouldn't be adding too much, because these ideas seems to blend in with what Minecraft already contains.
Yeah, sounds pretty good. You got your dad to play minecraft?
Yes. He watched me play for roughly a month, then roughly 2 weeks before his birthday, he had me buy it for him. Then on the server we play on, on the night before his birthday and he left to go to sleep, I stayed up until midnight to make a gigantic red 40 in front of his house and surrounded in cakes. You should have seen everyone's reaction :tongue.gif:

Click them or they will click you
That's a basic thing that will be worked on all the time, lag will always be an issue but things will always become less laggy.
