Well, I know next to nothing about coding games, but i just have a structrure generation idea. Is there any way to make a teir list for when generating the structures? I.E., all the strongholds will generate first, then if a mine tries to gnerate through it, it will stop before it goes into the stronghold. Same with caves into mines and strongholds. I just feel it would make the game a bit tideier and more enjoyable. Feedback is why i posted this. Thanks.
Nah I like caves, mines, ravines, strongholds and dungeons intersecting. Keeps me busy and not want to stop exploring the underground.
It also gives me the feel of one giant cavern of different areas, which in my opinion is epic
I'm pretty sure the only thing that interferes is strong hold and ravines. (yes caves can spawn holes in mines but mines are just caves so I don't so how it matters.) And trust me although it looks bad it would look worse if it didn't.
What I think Teb should do is, Make it so they intersect cleanlier so it doesn't leave blocks suspended in air.
