So I'm walking around, and I see a lake. Inside, there is a bit of clay. I quickly grab it, and get out of the lake. I then see a skeleton, so I walk quickly away, but then I realize that I can sprint. I double-tap W and run, but then all of a sudden, I trip.
The next day, it starts to rain. I step outside, kill some pigs, and sprint back home. All of a sudden, I trip. I quickly get up and walk into my house, leaving a trail of mud behind me. I grab my shovel and dig up my mud, and I get some dirt. I shove the dirt into my pocket.
My wolf runs into the lake. He comes out, and forgets to shake his fur dry, and runs to me and slips, knocking me over too. Ouch.
So this is a clear image of what would happen. So I'm going to answer some of your trollish answers.
R) Minecraft isn't made to be realistic. N00b.
A) Why did Notch make cooked pork lighter? To make it more realistic. And hunger? Same thing.
R) The mud part doesn't happen in real life!
A) Yeah, but when you hit dirt with a shovel, does it magically float and then pop into your pockets? Nah. And do zombies exist? Nah.
So feel free to come up with some reply to troll me, I don't really care, and I'll think of a comeback too. The End.
Umm... what? I really don't see what your suggesting here...
hes suggesting that mud forms after rain, and it leaves some trail if your walking around covered in it. I really wish he would actually suggest it, not leave it up to us to figure it out.

You can't make metre cubed pieces of rock get jiggy with each other, that's just WRONG.

Well, tracking things around at all is good. Definitely that could be in the game, at the very least. Though instead of tripping, could it splatter over blocks in the area when you jump?
Also: Guys. Seriously. Don't hate him or his idea for the way he (Oh dangit, so so sorry!) SHE proposed it. It was clever and creative. (Though you could put the idea, OP, condensed in a tl;dr format below it. It would help with haters like these.)
I am a SHE, thank you. :smile.gif: hatersgonnahateiguesstrolololol
Oh gosh, I didn't think. So so soooo sorry!!! It's really a default, and I apologize profusely. Edited original post.
On topic, tho. On the way into the game, there are a couple steps ideas take.
-First: Idea. You got that.
-Second: Mod. Ask a modder who's currently developing a mod with a block of Mud in it to see if it is feasible to have muddy splatters and the possibility of falling when you jump. That's what Notch looks at.
-Third: Notch. It's all up to him now. You could try finding him in a chatroom, or on Twitter (Twitter's most likely the best shot, thinking about it.) Be polite, and don't pester.

If there was a big, red, minus-1 button, I'd click that.

Curse PremiumI think Minecraft should have a balance of fantasy and realism.
