right now you need to go to minecraft.net to change skins so that when you upload one data gets transmited to your game to change it.
but we could change it in game if we added skins to the "mods and texture packs" section of the main menue and have a folder to dump skins in so that when we change skins the data gets sent back to minecraft.net
to me this seems a lot easier to change skins and allows people to do it offline. obveously this would require a major overhaul of minecraft.net but i think it would be worth it.

what do you think?
"go download a mod" doesnt put it into the game. not everyone wants a mod just so they can change their skin
no this would be mandatory to have. and pretty easy to do once you do it once or look up a guide online
but i think it should be implemented after they finish the important things!
hurray!
Notch has a lot of things he needs to finish or add he promised "looks at adventure mode"
Notch dosent care about pirateing he hasnt tried anything to even stop it so far.
