I thought of something; we have bottles which are only good for potions, and we have hunger and eating to survive. What about a thirst meter? You could fill bottles with water and then have to periodically drink to survive, and it could decrease a lot faster than the hunger meter.
And if we want to overcomplicate things more, taking water from an ocean could poison you, and so you have to either take it from a lake or spring, or put the bucket of salt water in a furnace to turn it into fresh water suitable for drinking.
What do you think? Thoughts?

I don't really like this idea, because you would need to use your furnace over 10 seconds per day you play, including the first day. So no, maybe if it went down so that you can go a few days, but not 1 day.

Why does everyone think I don't have an avatar? Is there anyone who can see the one black pixel.
Please click the dragons, they need to grow. Also, my fully grown dragons can be found in my bio.
Adding hunger actually added something to the gameplay, because now you can't instantly shove a cooked porkchop down your throat during combat for an instantaneous health boost, and thus fighting is more difficult (although strangely enough, I don't fear falling down nearly as much anymore because if my belly is full I'll just recover in a few seconds).
Adding thirst would just be stupid and overkill.

If I helped in any way, don't click that little green +, instead tell me how much you liked the post. (Only those who are incapable of earning rep the hard way have to beg for it in their signatures).
