What if when you were fishing and you caught a fish or squid, you could choose to send it to your aquarium, by a notification asking if you wanted to send it to your aquarium?
An aquarium would look be made like this:
= Glass Pane = Iron Ingot (Duh) = Water Bucket
The aquariums WOULD NOT spawn naturally, and you would be able to name the aquariums so if you had two, there would be a notification, like "Would you like to send this fish to ________ or ________?"
The aquarium would have to be placed on your map, and you could not send fish to an aquarium in your inventory. If there was no aquarium in your inventory and you attempted to send it to your aquarium, you would get a notification saying "You do not have an aquarium placed on your map."
The aquarium would be able to hold up to 5 fish each, or 1 squid and it would be the size of six blocks, like this.
The turquoise wool just represents the size, not the appearance.
The fish sprite would swim around back and forth. With the squid, it'd simply be the squid swimming around, but it would not despawn or die, with an exception that I'm coming to.
If you broke the aquarium, the fish would pop out as items. If it contained a squid, the squid's tentacles would flail around, and then it would die.
Again, if the squid was in the aquarium, it would not despawn.
The tank would not be able to pick up as a resource, like glass.
That concludes my suggestion. Post what you think, just don't be all "NOE THAT IDEEA STOOPID LOL". If you don't like it, give a reason.
EDIT: The tank must be within 45 blocks of you, otherwise the fish will not be able to be sent there. You could also right click on the aquarium while holding a fish to manually put it in.

Thats a really good idea. but theres one crucial thing missing, fish. and the size of the aquarium, but still a great idea.

Read the whole post please. I adressed both of those.
Neither can I.
We can eat raw meat without getting sick, we can teleport fish!
Neither can I.
You could only put fish and squid in the aquarium.
Neither can I.
I got food poisoned by eating a raw chicken once, so I'm sure that the risk is there.
Oh yeah. Raw chicken...
Neither can I.
