New varieties of weapon. Simple. Because we get bored of Swords and Bows.
Grapnel: Made using a hook of two metal/stone and 2 string, the Grapnel is a weapon combining the launch and fun of a fishing rod with the power of an actual damage dealer. When a Grapnel is right-clicked, one throws it with a range slightly smaller than a Fishing Rod cast, attempting to cut into a mob. If it hits, said mob will take about 2.5 (stone) to 4.5 (diamond) hearts of damage. The grapnel can then be yanked back to pull the mob toward the player with double the "yank" of the Fishing Rod, setting up for a punch or a sword swing.
Knuckles: Made using 2 Leather with a piece of whatever-you're-using on top. Knuckles may not be as powerful as Swords, but they're certainly fast- while wielding a Knuckle, swing speed is tripled, allowing the player to get out three times the punches in the same time. The basic Stone knuckle deals about 1 more heart than an empty fist, whereas a Diamond deals 3.5. Not only that- if you right-click while using Knuckles, you grab the foe! They will attempt to struggle free and (in the case of the Creeper) explode, but you can carry them for a few seconds while you line up a punch that goes off a cliff or into lava. Or you can just drop them again with another right-click. The Knuckle also goes over your fist instead of being in it.
Syringe: The syringe can be used as a substitute for Bottles in potion making. Crafted from 2 Glass with an Arrow below it, the Syringe can be filled with potions the same way that Bottles can. The difference? When you're holding the Syringe, you can right-click to stab enemies with it and inject the potion into them, giving the effects of whatever potion it was. Unfortunately, it takes a second or two to fully inject- less than it takes to drink a potion, but more than it would take to slash somebody. Or you could just fire the syringe from a...
Blowgun: Exactly! A ranged weapon for shooting syringes. Just stick 'em in the tube and fire. Of course, you can't retrieve them afterwards... unless you miss, and even then the potion just drains into the ground and can't be retrieved.
Reconfiguration Table: Constructed from a Crafting Table, four Iron Ingots and four Gold Ingots, a Reconfiguration Table allows one to alter weapons by slotting various objects into the Alteration slot! For example:
-Paper allows you to change the item's name.
-Ink Sacs turn the item pure black. Spooky!
-Lava Buckets allow tools to be turned back into their components and deposited in your inventory... at the cost of the Lava.
-A tool of the type you're Reconfiguring will allow you to repair it at the expense of the tool, adding the number of uses left in the new tool to the modified tool.
and finally...
New Elements: For creating weapons! "Crash," I hear you sigh, "that's stupid and overdone, and you should die in a fire." Ah, but these weapons are composed from Mob parts, allowing you to create weapons with the effects of these mobs! Each normal mob has a unique Mob Weapon crafted from their drops and some common elements.
Zombie- Zombie Hammer (Rotten Flesh x3, 1 Stick, 1 Feather)
Slow but devastating- isn't that just like a Zombie? No. Anyway, using the Zombie Hammer slows your swing, but shoves the foe into the ground- actually destroying the two blocks under them! (Unless one's tougher than Cleanstone.) The downside is that the Hammer's slowing will linger a few seconds after every smash. It also instantly breaks when swung at a Zombie.
Skeleton- Throwin' Bone (Flint x2, Bone x1)
The Throwin' Bone is a bone for throwin'. Obviously. Anyway, upon right-click, one throws the Throwin' Bone wherever you're pointed, dealing half the damage of a full-charge bow at the same range. Of course, you can retrieve the Throwin' Bone even if it hits, but you'll have to kill off the mob it's stuck in before you can pull it out or go in close and hope you inventorize it quick. The Throwin' Bone has 100 uses. It collapses if it hits a Skeleton.
Spider- Spiderfreerunner (Spider Eye x1, String x1, Boots x1)
The Spiderfreerunner allows you to harness the agility of a spider! While being worn, you can drop onto mobs' heads to deal damage and then run away at 1.5x regular speed. Unfortunately, the Spiderfreerunner ceases to function in daylight and tends to manifest Cobwebs around you if you stay still, along with having a low, low armor level. If you land on a Spider, the Spiderfreerunners dissolve.
Creeper- Creep Concentrate (Gunpowder x4, Empty Bottle x1, Milk Bucket x1)
Fill a bottle with a mixture of milk and the strange, volatile Gunpowder Creepers produce, and you have a bottle of Creep Concentrate. Merely hurl it, and it blasts an area of 2x2 blocks into oblivion! ...wait, that's puny. Well, the explosion is focused into the area targeted, and thus deals the same damage as being caught in the middle of a Creeper explosion! Of course, each bottle can only be used once. And a bottle lobbed at a Creeper will supercharge it as if lightning had struck it, instead.
Now, the best part: TELL ME HOW STUPID THIS ALL IS.

Reminds me a sh*tload of terraria...
Ah, sorry- I've never played Terraria, so...
I know that's a bad thing, though. Any tips on how to lessen its Terrariosity?
