As some have seen with the hacked in cauldrons, one cannot put lava inside them but what if you could? Have a single block wide spill free and safe way to get rid of items such as dud potions and unneeded blocks (gravel :biggrin.gif:).
I think it will help and would not require much more coding, just have it allow you to both right click and drop items in and never see them again!
For soup how about put in meats and such and create soups (picked up with bowls) that will refill hunger more than it's parts and get 3+ servings :biggrin.gif:.
Also food specific buffs could be introduced such as slowed hunger and if biome specific hazards are introduced into survival (to cold/ to hot) pork in soup will give cold resist!
Maybe heat resist drinks from apple and watermelon?
Post any suggestions improving or any more alternate uses for cauldrons.
Just a note on the lava idea, you can kind of already do that buy just placing the lava between some signs or non-flammable material. I guess the upsides however would be having a 1 block that didn't burn down your wooden house XD
I could make the soups one, piece of cake :smile.gif: except someone would probably have to do the graphics for me, cos I suck at graphics :tongue.gif: except I won't code for a pre-release, so it would have to be for 1.8.

Well that still has the risk of catching yourself on fire too and I would like having it fit next to chests and such.

Thanks, but I was hoping for this to go vanilla :biggrin.gif:
For graphics It I think would look like a ether a translucent mixture with particle effects for bits of meat and such or just copy past of current texture for potions just having brown for meat ones and light orange for watermelon apple combo.
