Hardcore's only death penalty is that you lose the world. But, the mobs still react like they were. Maybe they would react more smarter. Here's a list of what the mobs should do.
Zombie: Should try to cycle through the player's right.
Skeleton: Would do a 360 no-scope around the player when he is too close.
Spider: Would often rest in the ceilings, and when the player is right below them, they would drop theirselves on top of the player.
Creeper: Would try to jump above the player and then explode.
Enderman: Would attempt to throw the blocks they are holding at you, and take 1 heart of damage.
Silverfish: Would try to jump in your head and cover your vision when on first person mode, much like Headcrabs. You would take random damages while suffering of this, and could be countered by continuously jumping.
Spider Jockey: When the Spider pounces at you, the Skelly would do the 360 no-scope in you, and shoot you while on top of you, and the Spider would somehow teleport to where the Skelly will land.
Ghast: Any fireball a Ghast fired and hit an block would be knocked back into you. This only works on the first block the fireball hits.
Zombie Pigman: Would try to Ground-Pound above you. This would take 5 hearts away from you, but fortunaly it will be a hard move to do, as you would most likely run away from it.
Blaze: Same from Ghast.
Magma Cube: Would set you on fire when touched.
Slime: Would try to swallow you alive. This wouldn't take any damage until you attack it from within, but you would not be able to move, and the Slime would control the movement. This only works with Big Slimes. Small and Tiny won't do this attack.
Wolf: Would try to bite you and then shake you around. This is done by the Wolf pouncing on mid-air and hitting you. It would stay in mid-air, and you would be in a sitting position, with your back sticked to the Wolf's mouth. He would shake his mouth 5 times, and each time you would take 1 Damage.
If i forget any other Hostile or Neutral mob, please tell me

@Altoid2 I know, but Hardcore must have something else than just loosing the world, right? It only get hard when you are in a crowd of monsters, but it should be very hard that only a single monster could kill you because, well, it is HARDCore!
I don't support. To get the full experience of the game, the smart mobs, you would HAVE to play hardcore. That's dividing the playerbase. Maybe make it so you can toggle smart mobs in ANY game type, for the people who want smart mobs without playing hardcore.

Seriously though, I like these ideas except for the skeleton/spider jockey. Plus I think they should be for regular as well.
