Hi all. I had an interesting idea when exploring a ravine, and i was thinking why there are no trenches in the world generation code. Trenches are like underwater ravines, just bigger and deeper. I think since not a lot of people do a lot of diving, it would have valuable stuff in it, like ores and dungeons in caves near it.
Trenches should:
*Be only in Ocean biomes
*Be VERY very deep, as they are in real life. Maybe even touch bedrock? (okay maybe not that deep)
*Should have many valuable stuff there, like ores, caves, dungeons, etc.
*Randomly Generated Air Pockets
The rewards would have to be rich, as I have other, less tedious ways of obtaining them. Also, a means for underwater sight (goggles anyone?) would be a must, since everything is dark in trenches, and underwater lighting isn't the most efficient thing in the world.

Yeah, I would imagine making something to help venture into trenches, like a glow stick or something. Maybe Blaze rods should emit light so you can go there :biggrin.gif:. You could also make an air pocket :tongue.gif:

What do you guys think?

Yeah thats probably something that should spawn in with trenches. Random air pockets. That would help exploration a **** ton.
Jelly Fish anyone?
