My suggestion is to add a new game mode to the game.
Hardcore, Survival, Creative, and CLASSIC
With this, I don't mean for Notch to add the initial classic mode, he already has that :smile.gif:, but I intend for the "Minecraft crew" to add a new game mode that basically has the 1.4/1.5 update (or even something earlier, just my first opinion of that "simple" game it used to be). None of the complicated stuff, but just that simple game that minecraft used to be. I personally LOVE the updates, but some people think that Minecraft just isn't the same "No purpose, just be creative" game that it used to be.
Well, I hope you see this, thanks for reading!

classic mode should be indev or infdev, even before alpha :smile.gif:
Yeah, but they already have that classic on minecraft.net, what I'm saying is that some people prefer mobs (beta) and other things to the current minecraft and future updates. Good thinking though, I like the idea of implementing the old minecraft as a possiblity in the current game.
Its not too bad, but Notch is adding potions and new things such as hunger and xp which isn't the same as what Minecraft initially was (all creativity, sorta like infdev mode).

While early Minecraft focused on creativity, the focus changed to make Minecraft into an actual game, instead of a $30 creativity toy.
I mean, from what I see, you want to play Minecraft without any feature from recent updates, and that just seems a bit nonsensical to me. Old world blues and the like.
If you want to play with a focus on creativity, you can always use Creative mode, which is essentially Classic with an expanded block list.

I agree with you (like 100%) but other people don't. Like some people want to play survival, but without a bunch of the new additions What I'm saying is that I believe Notch should just add something to the main game where players can go back to an older version of minecraft. (maybe beta 1.?,Alpha/Classic could be two options) Obviously Notch can't add every version of the game in, but I feel like some people would be happy with a few additions and such.

Did i help or entertain you in any way? Click the up arrow in the corner, thanks!
Lol I meant to add Notch and Mojang AB in there for credit. But honestly, I have no idea why there are quotes there. :biggrin.gif:
