My boyfriend and i were talking about Minecraft and we came up with a few ideas.
i browsed the already suggested topics and didn't see anything related to our ideas, so here we go!
We were thinking of maybe having an extra slot for armor so we could hold backpacks!
it will give us extra inventory space... maybe an extra row? They can be made with leather, string, and wool or something. Then, in turn, there could be a new passive mob... mules! i am not quite sure how they would come about, but you can put a backpack on their back and they become a pack mule. They will follow you around and could have a small inventory that could hold whatever you wanted, but the kicker is, they don't follow you in the dark or at night so you're forced to make camp. if they fall and die, all your items spill out and the mule is gone forever.
We also had another idea: carrots and bunnies! You can grow carrots and as well as eat them, and there are bunnies that spawn. You can feed the bunnies the carrots which triggers something in the code, so when you kill the bunnies, there is a 1-2% chance that they will drop a rabbits foot. The rabbits foot will have some kind of perk when equipped (assuming there are some accessory slots of some kind), like Luck and make you a certain % luckier than normal. Luck will affect the likelihood of receiving drops from mobs, or increase the amount of drops received. it could also affect the critical hit chance.
These are just a few random ideas we had. What do you guys think?

Can I suggest adding pictures to the thread. Or making titles bold or even changing the color. All black and lowercase hurts my eyes :tongue.gif: Great ideas though!
An idea for backpacks:
The backpacks would add another armor slot to the game? Why? That would make the GUI feel alien. I suggest that you could put them in you hot-bar and right click. and it would open a chest like screen. if you had the backpack in you hot-bar, it would show on the back of you character. backpacks could not hold backpacks. (to avoid infinite storage)

Yeah, i like this idea way better. i still really liked the idea of the pack mule though. i found myself a few times where i wanted to move my base and i had to go back and forth cause i had so many items.

Yes, I like the mules. just talking about when you carry it :smile.gif:
Perhaps the Pack Mules could hold as may items as a single chest? maybe cougars could be created and could attack your mules and you would need to protect them and the cougar could drop pelts that can be made into winter clothing and worn as protection in winter environments :cool.gif:
