Just looking at the physics of the bow and arrow, they do not do much. Even though they have the potential to do multiple things. Some suggestions that I personally would add to the game are:
When an arrow is shot at a lever is switches it, and when shot at a button it activates it.
(the fire arrow is built it and occurs when an arrow is shot through lava) I believe that when this arrow hits a block, any flammable block surrounding the arrow should catch on fire. Another suggestion is this arrow hits a mob or npc should catch fire and do damage.
Any improvements or additions to these ideas would be interesting to here. Thank you!
"Shoot through lava"? Doesn't that currently break the arrow? Also, how would you aim at a target? It might be possible to have a dispenser shoot out of lava as a trap, but using a bow like that doesn't seem practical. Shooting through fire, or adding a fire arrow item would honestly be better. I completely agree about the buttons and switches though. Maybe also give them the ability to break glass and torches, that would also make skeletons more interesting and slightly more powerful.

Off topic: I found the italic button! :laugh.gif:
Yes, it would be more practical just to have a fire arrow, and currently shooting an arrow through lava still catches it on fire. And thanks for the suggestions :3
Cool, but not so practical. In what situations (other than adventure maps) are you going to need to his switches and levers from far away, or shoot through lava? This is pretty pointless.

I support this tho I agree that shooting levers and buttons can be difficult. What if you could shoot pressure plates and place pressure plates on walls?
Currently I made an adventure map that requires you to shoot a picture off a wall to hit a pressure plate. Problem with my design is that once the plate is pressed it cant be done again. Maybe Ill post my map one day, I was very happy with the results of it, though alot of it is broken once you play it once.
