Notch has a great amount of major biomes but i think one more is needed. One with plateaus. Im not sure what exactly they are called but they are very flat, little or no grass, red dirt/rocks, and big canyons and plateaus.
Here is what im talking about.
Notch could even make stone in this biome look red or maybe make a new kind of reddish stone.
So what do you guys think? Sorry if this has been posted before, i couldn't find anything about them.
I like to call them dusty western deserts. And I think that is a very good idea. Kudos to you! It would be a great place to build big things.

Adhuc odor plura tulisti imbres ad instar ursi week vetus mauris. Dico, quod grauiter saponem es usura. Oh! Locus est emanio trans! Ahh! Dulcis Jesu, miserere! Egredere! Porcorum! Translate it.

I totally agree, it would be sweet to build cities or rollercoasters or crazy redstone circuits.
But, speaking of cities, it might mess up the creation of NPC villages. If you've seen the pic of the buildings spawning in the middle of ravines, it's funny, but kinda ugly...
yeah i never thought about the ability to actually be able to make huge projects without having to clear land. that just made this better in my opinion!
I support. Not just a mod, but for vanilla. Of course, this actually making it to vanilla is kinda unlikely, but it would be great for a more flat desert.
Also, I had a game where I had a giant mesa in the desert. It was sooo awesome.

[quote=Catelite]Just because you don't understand how something works, doesn't make it broken or pointless. >_<
