Ok so I personally think the only challenge in strongholds are the rarity to find one. But if you do, it wouldnt be much fun anymore huh? So I think this idea would be great.
Hollows:
Behavior- Hollows are neutral mobs as they only become hostile to players they see in a stronghold so stepping out of one will make them passive again, unless provoked. If provoked, it will continuously chase the last attacker even stepping outside the stronghold. They will burn in sunlight. They will move around a stronghold very slowly and silently, patrolling it. They will never explore in a lit area, unless one sees a player and alarms the others. The alarms is the only time they make sounds. A hollow moves slower in an area with a light level of 7 or higher They are slow, but one sees a player, it will alarm the others and will move fast. Their speed is 0.01% faster than a player's walkspeed and like a player, they can also boost their speed for sometime and that is by levitating. When they levitate, they will get a speed boost of as much as how players get when they sprint. The recharge time of the levitate is the same time for how long they have been levitating. The maximum levitate time is 15 seconds. A hollow patrols in groups of one. Unlike other mobs, these dont spawn so when they are all killed, the stronghold is no longer dangerous, if silverfish are not counted.
Appearance- A hollow is like a silhouette. It is black and the only thing that has color is it's eyes, which are red and the eyes glow. Black smoke comes out from its body all the time but when it is chasing someone, the smoke that comes out becomes more. It has a height of 2 blocks tall, it has arms, legs, and a somehow transparent cape.
Construction safety- In case someone who attacked a hollow enter your house making the hollow go there, make sure there is light around, above, and when it gets in, there should also be light inside your house. At least level 7 to give more running time.
Combat- It has an attack damage of 3 hearts. Since hollows move slower in light levels of 7, bring torches with you, at least enough to make a medium sized circle of torches around you, and inside the circle. Hit it with arrows before it gets inside the circle then when it gets inside, hit it with your sword.

When killed, it drops 1-5 black teardrops, used for making levitate potions that will let you levitate for 15 seconds
