I have a suggestion for a new biome, like my Arctic biome suggestion you probably haven't seen and don't care about! WHITEWATER RIVERS
(Dun dun DUUUUN)
-What is it?
A whitewater river biome is a wet, warm biome with a flowing river running through it.
-What do I find there?
Basically, you find everything in a forest biome. However, there are no ravines, as these would mess with the main biome feature:
-Whitewater rivers?!
So basically, these are normal rivers, except they start at a high elevation and flow down to a low elevation at the end of the biome. The water here is blue-white (Don't flame about different water color, look at swamps in 1.9). Water placed in this biome has a strong current that you CANNOT SWIM AGAINST. This is not a direct danger in itself, except for the fact that there are waterfalls onto rocks quite frequently in this biome. If you fall in the river, you will have to fight your way out before you are thrown off the edge of a deadly waterfall.
The rivers themselves are composed of a riverbed of stone and gravel, the water itself which is almost always flowing, and rocks made of stone that appear randomly wherever the river changes elevation. So, for example, here is a cross section of a small section of river with a rock in it, viewed straight on as if traveling down it.
Before and after this rock would be completely clear river. This is not 2 split rivers.
-What is this biome for?
Imagine you discover a flowing whitewater river. You craft a boat and begin to make your way down it, avoiding rocks that could destroy your boat and leave you helpless to the current. You make it through a particularly tough rapid and name it after yourself. Then, up ahead, you see a waterfall. You pull your boat aside and exit. You don't reach land, however, and you find yourself speeding toward the edge. You swim toward a rock and stop on the edge of the fall. Safe for now, you build a dirt bridge to land.
Later, you open rafting tours of your river to the public. All the rapids are named, and you venture down with your friends. Then, after the rapid named after you shines the brilliant Diamond Falls, the take out point of the rafting trip with a shining minecart bridge crossing the river.
-New items
River raft?
This specialized raft for whitewater rivers may not be needed, but it could be like a boat, except you can carry it after it has been placed. Not detroy it, but carry it on your head similar to the way bunnies are in Mo' Creatures. You would be defenseless when carrying it, but it would be very useful for safely walking down a waterfall to continue your rafting journey without crafting another boat.

So,
What do you think?
Updated the river raft.
A pretty seriously good mod.
im not really into supports mods
Ok, the raft is a bad idea, but it's not part of the biome suggestion.
