I can't be bothered checking, but is this a glitch because:

• it was a re-skin of the smooth-stone half block?
• or that it is just a different damage data value? (like the different colours of wool)

umm... you made an entire thread for a tiny tiny bugfix? I'd rather make a thread about adding the ability of endermen picking up all blocks again.

i am acually only partial to this now, for that if we made it to be like wood then most likly it will burn. then we cant amke fire-proof wood houses

I 100% support, the only blocks that axes affect are wood, wooden planks and bookshelves. There are a lot more wooden blocks out there and it would only make sense if they were to be mined with an axe.

I think fences should require a shovel. You don't want to chop the fence into pieces, just dig it out of the ground. I know this wouldn't make sense for people that build a fence off ground.

This has my support, too.

Personally, I would like to change the game so that player created items (furnaces, workbenches, bed, etc) automatically get picked up if the player punches them with an empty hand. There's no reason to have me break my stuff if I want to redecorate my home :smile.gif:

He said you should break them with an axe instead of a pick. He didn't say anything about them burning.

I full-on support this, though it's just a beta version. The game as is is just a random piece of buggy code. I hope this will have been addressed when the final version is released.

The only reason you have to use a pickaxe is because wood slabs are a copy of stone slabs. They still have yet to change the material type to wood.
