You know, I've been browsing the Minecraft Wiki a bit, and all these items being dropped by mobs all don't have a use. But I've figured something out. Don't these all sound like something, I dunno, a witch would put into her cauldron?
Nether Warts, Spider Eyes, Blaze Dust, Ghast Tears, etc.
So I'm just speculating here, but I'm pretty sure those will be used for the potions. For example, a Spider Eye, a glass bottle, and a bucket of water may make a Speed Potion, while substituting in a Fermented Spider Eye would make a Speed Potion II.
No, I think spider eye potion would let you climb walls, because that's something spiders do that other mobs don't.
Ghast tears would probably be some sort of necromancy thing, because mythological creature tears tend to have resurective qualities, and ghasts are ghosts, and it would probably be difficult to integrate genuine resurrection.
I heard they would be used for wepon modifications you know what I just thought of? that spider eye can be crafted into a night vision equipment hmm :smile.gif:

It's already known that there will be Speed Potions, and I can't see anything other than Spiders giving it to you.
Spiders do not have speedy eyes. The only significant thing about their eyes is that they glow in the dark.
