I just finished my 10x10 pig pen, and I wanted to test animal breeding. It was really cool making pigs follow you. Anyway, I fed 2 pigs some wheat in my pen, and then I went to my inventory to select some fences for a 2nd pen. I finish, and BAM there's a 3rd pig. Fully grown. In less than 30 seconds, too. I hope Mojang decides to nerf animal breeding, food is already easy to get. I haven't tested it on anything else, but here is what you should do for pigs:
How to Help:
Make Reqs (See Below
Nerf it.
Requirements:
Atleast 5x5 flat space
25 Grass blocks nearby
Feeding every morning (Maybe every other morning?)
Girl & Boy (Add a 2nd texture, or a slightly smaller animal)
Once the infant has spawned, it should be 3x as small as the adults. Killing it would only drop 1 porkchop (You cruel person!), and then it grows into a second stage which is slightly bigger. Lastly, it finished growing into an adult after 2-4 days (random).
These are just my ideas! Thank you for reading and share your opinion! Please no trolling or negative feedback, its only a suggestion.
If I helped in any way, don't click that little green +, instead tell me how awesome I am.(I'm not so stuck up that I have to ask people to rep me, grow up people.)
Simple solution to having too many animals: Kill some off, namely the ones in "breeding mode".
It's easy to just stop breeding animals, but I think players should have the option to breed a whole bunch if that's what they want. That's why breeding was added, after all: To make the acquisition of passive mobs easier and more reliable.

Baby animals have been a consideration in the future. Let them get the core basics down pact before they even think about adding baby animals.
