Ok so here is it:
you have 2 hearts you have only 5% of your normal speed if you have only 1 half heart you have only 2% and if you have 5 hearts you have %70 i think that would do nice or it could be reversed if you get hurt you get an adrenaline burst because your heart ticks like a bomb.

I think the latter of the two sounds better, like, if you get down to two hearts, you auto sprint due to adrenaline. Maybe your screen pulses yellow or something? Possibly also make it for a short period so people don't just damage themselves for infinite auto sprint..

I agree. If you've ever worked with a game that features slowing effects, you'd know that anything around 50% reduced speed is extremely detrimental. At 5-10%, you might as well not be moving.
@ TC: First thing's first. You're starting at the wrong end of the spectrum. Assuming 1/2 heart remaining is 2% speed, and each half heart accounts for +1.25% movement speed (to match your suggestion) you would cap out at 25% speed with a full 10 hearts. At 1.25% starting at 100%, you would reach somewhere around 75% speed at minimal health. This would be more acceptable, but I'd still prefer avoiding the slowdown all together.
If the movement speed scales down with your remaining HP, this could spell trouble after the first few hits especially with Skeletons who, once aggrivated, will probably be able to bombard you with arrows as you try to run. Not to mention those players who do not have armor yet. After being hit maybe 3 times on Normal, they would be screwed from that point on from the slowdown. It's along the lines of the other idea in other games where the more damage you take, the more you bleed, and the more you bleed, the slower you move, attack, etc. You might as well just cut the health bar in half as at that point it probably won't matter.
Rant aside, the adrenaline sprint might be a plausible one.
Reqirements:
-2 hearts or less (after damage is calculated)
-over 30% hunger meter
Effects:
-Increases speed by an additional 30%
-Stacks with manual sprint. (caps at +50% movement speed)
-Lasts 5 seconds
-Duration resets each time hit while at or below 2 hearts.
Some other requirement ideas:
-3 heart requirement instead of 2.
-over 15% hunger meter instead of 30%.
-Does not activate if you have food poisoning.
-Does not activate if you are poisoned.
We can do the exact opposite- ever play Call of Pripyat? It's a great game. Anyways, in that game, the more hurt you are, the slower you move. Just food for thought. Is that the right phrase? What I'm saying is that when you get to three hearts or something, you move at 'walking' speed, due to the amount of misery you're in.
